Dead Northern Horror Film Festival?

Volunteering at Dead Northern is a unique opportunity for anyone who is passionate about film and large-scale events. By volunteering you will gain hands-on industry experience, network with filmmakers, the festival directors, and build valuable connections, whilst developing a wide range of personal skills, and make new friends.

As a volunteer, you will be working with the festival directors and venue staff to support the filmmakers, guests, and audience. Our volunteers are crucial to the smooth running of the event. Roles as a volunteer vary but include working on the box office, merchandise and stock, green room and supporting the cinema staff.

As a volunteer, you will be given tickets to the films (outside your shift), one of our festival T-shirts and access to our evening events.
